CDWorld to shut down
CDWorld.com will be closing its online store on Friday because of the weakening economy, company Chief Executive Bruce Pettyjohn said. The Campbell, Calif.-based company, which sold CDs, DVDs, software and video games, has laid off seven employees from its 10-person staff over the past five months, he said.

Infospace cuts 250 staffers
